Nope, it did not. Worse then that, the drives were all sitting next to the machines, instead of in some secure location.
So what did I do on my vacation day?
Took all the drives and hung them off of a Mac Mini which is now in a closet elsewhere.
And for backups?
I am using Backup.app, aka the original Backup software Apple wrote. Which, unlike Time Machine, will work with network drives. It is not as pretty, but it does the job.
And in the end?
Doing the job is what I want.
And what have I transferred my excitement to?
The built in VNC client :)
It works seamlessly. I really dislike mucking around with stuff, and it solved a number of my problems with my VNC setups.
It just works.
Excellent.
