Michael Dell has returned as the CEO at Dell Computing.

I buy white boxes or have IBM send me computers (hey, thanks for quad processor it screams! Go PPC!).

When not buying white boxes I buy Linksys WRT54Gs and hack them.

But still, something about this announcement brings back an aura to Dell.

Though it is not Steve.

Only Steve is Steve.

But still...

What you see there is a bold comment being made, and one he can back away from.

Basically, he made a statement that would get him headlines.

I have always thought so :)

I suspect that the former CEO of Apple thought he was buying NeXT right up until the time Steve took back his office.
