Hi!

Weizenwind referred me to you. I'm thinking about buying a soymilk maker, and asked her how she liked hers. She told me it wasn't impressive, and that she loaned it to you and you weren't crazy about it either. But she says you got a different kind and that it's been a huge hit. So I was just wondering what brand it was, how the taste compares to commercial soymilks such as Silk, and how easy it is to clean.

I'm a total stranger so feel free to ignore my questions! :)

The one we are using right now is this one:
http://www.amazon.com/Soyabella-Automatic-Soymilk-Coffee-Grinder/dp/B000FEOBX8/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1198873440&sr=8-1

The milk is pretty smooth and does not come out tasting like Chalk. If you are in Capital Hill and want to try some you are welcome to come by.

Oh, that is so sweet! Unfortunately I live maybe 1,000 miles away from Capital Hill. I've heard good things about the Soyabella though.

Thanks!!

1000 miles? That puts you in San Fran?

While I come there all the time, and in theory could bring some...

I suspect the TSA would be highly suspicious of soy milk in a container :)

Haha!

Well, 1,000 miles was an estimate and a pretty poor one at that. Fortunately or unfortunately, depending on one's perspective, I am nowhere near San Francisco.

But still. The TSA probably would shunt you off into the "special" line for extra scrutiny.
