We tried to make that (or a varient of it involving toasted slices of a bageutte) for relatives in the ozarks of Missouri. Turned out no stores there carried or even new about mozzeralla in any form except shredded for pizza. We had to bring it on the airplane with us (before the no exploding cheese on planes rule). Good stuff.

See if you can find it in your local Whole Foods supermarket.
And the oil... must be extravergin, please avoid other chemically filtered oils...
