Hidden Closet

Woke up this morning and while walking through the house discovered
that a handyman had opened up the door in one of the rooms.
Which lead to a swing out book case.
Secret Closet!
The bookshelf is hung via some heavy hinges and will swing in if you
push on it enough. I've stayed here a number of times, and I remember
thinking when I first came into the house that something about the
shelves felt odd. Now I know why :)
The only way that you can tell that there is something out of place
is because of the joint between the door and the bottom of the shelf
(the last photo shows this). According to Ann her father designed it
for her and Jim when they remodeled the house. They don't keep
anything in the space behind the bookcase, but from what Ann says
children find it delightful to play in.
