It's similar but the game play is more than just a little different than Settlers and Seafarers of Catan.

*grin* just finished a 2 person game of Settlers with suddenlynaked - he won, but *JUST BARELEY* - it was a good game. I have a present for you, too... related to the topic, but I'm not telling...

(As in, my friends and I spent four hours playing it, but looking back I can't believe I had that much fun trading cards that said 'wheat' for cards that said 'brick'.)

It is a good strategy game, but still it leaves enough open time during plays to be social.

I prefer games where people can be social :)
